Readings for Seventh Day of Christmas

First reading:   Be careful of "anti-Christ" type people

Responsorial Psalm:  Keep on praising God in these days after Christmas

Gospel:  The Word...who became flesh!

Reflection:
On this last day of 2012, these readings encourage us to increase our focus on Jesus, the Word who became flesh....and to avoid all values that are contrary to his teaching

Prayer: Jesus, thank you for 2012.
Please help me increase my focus on you and your values in 2013

Last day of 2012
I never lose interest in reading your websites and blogs. Just like a cup of coffee with bitter and sweet. From my RRPs comment on Dec., 23 I forgot to thank you that you have made Doctor. Jesus for sick people and painful people. My sickness is healed because of Dr. Jesus. My case was that : Due to cold weather I couldnt sleep for 4 weeks and suffering from Asthma although I had consult a specialist Doctor several times. Another problem was after an open cholecystectomy persistent wound paid affecting my daily living and also I couldnt turn my body to sleep at night in these 2 years although I have had many appointments with Doctors and specialists.
But there is nothing impossible for Dr. Jesus. I still remember I closed my eyes and I prayed for Dr Jesus comes to me, Lord, I said I am sick please heal me. I put my hand on my painful places.. and I felt Dr Jesus touched my right and left shoulders it last for a minute. That night when I went to bed I could sleep the whole night through that was the first time in these two years. Now each night I can have a good sleep and healthy daily living. All because of Dr. Jesus our Jesus Christ, there is nothing impossible.
Father John, thank you for your efforts and contributions, your healing prayers for the sick and you made the Doctor Jesus booklet.
Our faith needs to be in God and his omnipotence. Amen

I read the article posted by Fr M Menapace. I would encourage people to read it. It basically describes what I have been thinking as the year closes. It was written so eloquently and such a beautiful article. As a highlight, the message there was that there is no bad years and good years, only ones which have more lessons or less lessons. The year that has more lessons, we suffer more but also more blessed as we learn from the lessons. Moral of the article, we should thank the Lord for everything that happens to us, things are not bad if we have Christ with us, we should learn to "suffer" with joy and not only look for instantaneous gratification.

Make sure and always remind ourselves : I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen
Lord, please protect people from false teaching

In this last day of 2012, My LORD, thank you for all the graces I have received from YOU.
