Reading: Titus 3 Remind everyone to be obedient to government officials; to be ready to do good at every opportunity; not to go slandering other people or picking quarrels; to be courteous and polite to everyone There was a time when we too were ignorant; when we lived in wickedness and ill-will, hating each other and hateful ourselves But then the kindness and love of God our Saviour were revealed, and God saved us because of his compassion God saved us by the cleansing water of rebirth, and by renewing us with the Holy Spirit whom he has poured over us through Jesus Christ our Saviour So we are justified by his grace, and look forward to eternal life Reflection: Prayer: Jesus, please help all Christians be good citizens |

Reading: Luke 23
At about midday, there was an eclipse of the
sun. The veil of the Temple was torn right down the middle Jesus cried out in a loud voice "Father, into your hands I entrust my life". Then he died When the Roman army leader saw what had
happened, The people who had been present went home asking God for mercy. Jesus' friends stood at a distance and saw all that had happened Reflection: Prayer: Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for the salvation of the world. Please help us love you better |
