One minute video of Kasim walking

I visited Kasim recently at Lifuwu village. Here is his updated profile

Kasim was found when he was eight. He comes from a peasant family.  He suffers from Polio since he was a baby.

He crawled by himself 2 years ago to the nursery from his house. No one knew where he came from. At that time, he could only manage to crawl and stand on 1 foot. Since then, a lot of support and advice was given to him and his family.

A small operation has been done last month.  Both of his ankles are lengthened.  A pair of crutches and ankle foot orthosis had been made. The walking frame could guide him standing straight on his feet. From now on, he can use these walking aids to practise together with the rollator which he has been using in the last 2 years.

Please enjoy his walking video!

P.s. His 2 year old younger brother also suffers Polio unfortunately. Now, his mother realised that getting support from the community is better than hiding him at home. So, the little one also gets the medical treatment.
