O Holy Spirit, please guide me as I read these passages for today. 
May these passages give me hope, strength, wisdom, courage and peace for my daily life 

David and 30,000 men went to Baalah (Kiriath-jearim)
to bring the Sacred Chest to Jerusalem.

David and the people danced before the Sacred Chest
and sang loudly to the accompaniment of much music.

After the Sacred Chest entered Jerusalem
David blessed the people in the name of the Lord.

Dear God, please help us  praise you with joy, as David did

O God whom I praise, do not be silent,
for people are bombarding me with  words of hate.

They speak to me with lying tongues
and attack me without cause.

They repay me evil for good.
While I pray for them,  they show me hatred.

I have become an object of scorn.
Help me, Lord my God.

Lord, when people are unkind to me,  please give me the grace to pray for them

Kill all the bad things that trouble earthly life:
fornication, impurity, evil desires, greed,  anger, bad temper,
spitefulness, abusive language, dirty talk and lying

You have deleted your old self, 
and have downloaded a fresh copy of the divine image. 
That image is Christ. He must be installed in every part of your life

Jesus, take over my life. Install yourself in every part of my life

A prayer hall official came to Jesus and urgently asked him to go to his house,
where his 12 year old daughter was dying

As Jesus and his friends were following the official to his home,
a woman who had a hemorrhage for 12 years came up behind Jesus and touched his clothing.
Her bleeding stopped at that moment

Jesus knew what  had happened and said to her
"My daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace"

Before  Jesus arrived at the official's house,
a messenger arrived and said to the official
" Your daughter is dead. Do not trouble the Master any more"

Jesus heard these words and said to the official
"Do not be afraid. Have faith, and she will be ok"

At the house Jesus allowed only Peter, James, John and the girl's parents to go with him inside

To the mourners Jesus said "Stop crying. She is not dead, but asleep".
They laughed at him, since they knew she was dead

Jesus took the little girl by the hand and called to her "Child, get up".
 Her spirit returned and she got up at once

Jesus, please increase my faith in your power to heal sick people
