I hope the blog is of some encouragement to keep running the race of life,
encouragment not to give up....encouragement to keep going....despite
difficulties/sickness/opposition....
just as Jesus kept going to Jerusalem,
even though he knew what would happen in Jerusalem
Today is
traditionally called “Spy Wednesday”
since it was today that Judas conspired with the Temple Leadership to hand Jesus
over.
Judas carried out his plan tomorrow night, after the Last Supper,
but today was when he made arrangements to hand Jesus over..... and got paid his
30 pieces of silver.
Today in Chinese
culture is the festival of Ching Ming,
a public holiday in Hong Kong, China (since a few years ago) and many other
places.
Ching Ming is when people visit the graves of their departed family members.
A beautiful custom.
Yesterday
afternoon I was as usual on Tuesday
in a detention centre for several hours.
My prayer with the inmates yesterday went something like this:
Jesus,
in prison on Thursday night,
on a Cross on Friday,
in a tomb on Saturday,
risen from the dead on Sunday,
please help us
My Bible Plan for today = the readings of Wednesday of Holy Week
