Dear Friends
May I share just one happy
experience
- from last Thursday when I visited Lai Chi Kok Detention Centre
In one large room...about 70 men....half of
them with drug issues...
a big tough-looking young fellow came up to me and said
"could you please say a prayer with my friend...over at that table
there...he's got a sore leg and sore back"
So we went, so we prayed
Then I asked the Big Man: "Why did you ask me to say a prayer?
Answer: "Because when I was in the
detention centre hospital last week (on arrival..)
I was in quite a lot of pain....and you went round...giving everyone the little
book 'Dr Jesus'...
and you put your hand on my head for a short prayer....which made me feel much
better"
