Dear Friends

About 50 years ago I was a "paper boy",
delivering papers in the Brisbane suburb of Wynnum
....riding my bicycle ....throwing papers onto lawns and verandas

I'm still a paper boy,
delivering papers to Hong Kong's inmates:
Catholic papers (Chinese and English)
and Muslim papers (in Urdu, for Pakistan inmates)
and Indonesian papers
and Tagalog papers
and Hindi papers
(and, when I can get them, Vietnamese/Bengali/Punjabi papers)

Most Sunday afternoons I go to the famous Chung King Building in Tsim Tsa Shui
where some kind traders (Pakistani, Indian etc) have saved old papers/magazines for me.
Then I go through Kowloon Park where some Indonesian women (among the many hundreds picnicking there)
have some magazines for sale.

Occasionally I go to the Mosque in Nathan Road
to get copies of the Koran and other books for Muslim inmates.
I've learnt how to enter a mosque: take off your shoes
...and when you go in the main door of the mosque,
put your right foot in first!

The "O.N"s" as they are called ("overseas nationals") are grateful for the papers
...most of them have no relatives or friends to supply papers,
and the whole exercise
is part of preparing a way for the best of all papers,
the best of all stories,
the Good News
...which I never force on anyone,
but which people often like to read
after we have become friends

On this 16th of the month, Jesus please bless the people of Qinghai
(Please join me in praying for one part of China each day of the month)

My  Bible Plan for today.  Please join me in using this menu for nourishment

Thank you for a prayer

God bless!
