Dear Friends
My dear mother was born on this day in 1911.
Happy 101st Birthday today, Mum!
Mum was born in Bourke, NSW.
She died on the Gold Coast, on October 4, 2005
Her mother was Irish, her father born in
Australia, the son of Irish migrants.
She grew up during the Depression,
and belonged to Generation DW ("don't waste")
The two most important things in her life: faith and family
As Mother's Day draws closer, let's thank the Good Lord for our mothers!
