Dear Friends
Two days ago at a detention center
I met a man from Syria
Syria is in the news a lot these days,
so I asked the man what he would like to see happen
His one-word reply "peace".
Then I mentioned my dream of a Middle East Economic Union (like EU)
He replied: Not possible until the present leadership changes in many countries
"Change not possible without regime
change".
Applies to many places....and to the Church
...which is why each day I
pick up a few bits of rubbish

May 12, Sat: Queen Elizabeth Hospital custodial ward
| May 13, Sun: - 10.30am Mass at Peng Chau Island; - 3pm Monthly Healing Prayer meeting, at St Paul's Church, Yau Ma Tei; - 6.30pm gathering at St Paul's, YMT for "special guests" (visitors welcome!). Guest speaker tonight: Keung Bing Yu, Ben, former drug addict and now a Christian pastor. Each special guest tonight will receive a copy of Ben's book |
May 14, Mon: Lai Chi Kok Detention Centre
May 15, Tues: Lai Chi Kok Detention Centre
May 16, Wed: Hei Ling Chau Drug Treatment Centre + Tung Wah Hospital
May 17, Thur: afternoon English at Our Lady's School, Wong Tai Sin
