Dear Friends
Last
Sunday in Brisbane, my football team, the
Lions,
who are near the bottom of the ladder,
defeated the top team in a most courageous and dramatic manner,
kicking 8 goals in the final quarter
On
Sunday night when I saw the news about this win
...wow...it was like winning the lottery!
What
a wonderful effect good news has on us!
Our energy level suddenly goes up
Same
thing yesterday at Lai Chi Kok Detention Centre:
I was in one section when the men received the day's mail.
A letter from wife/girl friend....and the effect was the same...
energy/happiness/peace - up...."some one cares about me...someone
loves me"
Same
thing each time we open our Scriptures:
a letter from the best of all Friends
...with the message "Some one loves me"
