Typhoon
Doksuri is now
upon Hong Kong.
Doksuri is technically a "tropical storm" rather than a typhoon,
but HK is using its typhoon signals to keep everyone alert.
Last night, Signal No. 3 was up, and you can
click here to see the current signal
Also
arrived in HK yesterday was President Hu Jintao.
One
of his first stops was Sek Kong Military Baracks
to check out the rocket launchers and tanks (needed for ????)
Tomorrow
there's due to be the annual protest march.
It will probably have more marchers than the
200,000 of last year
and might set a new record since President Hu is in town
and people want to let him know how they feel about things
How
the above three items will impact on each other
is a very interesting question!
