Dear Friends

Some Olympic Games trivia:

* The coach of the Serbian women's volleyball team looks like a younger brother of Mr Bean!

* We are now in the second week of Ramadan....no meal till night time for Muslims. What about the Muslim athletes?  I hope someone has told them that they are excused!

* Joke about guy who won ringside ticket to women's beach volleyball:
He wasn't very happy when he found out the game was between Saudi Arabia and Yemen!

------

To balance above Muslim references: like last year, I am trying to observe Ramadan in a small way: no alcohol or ice cream.
Alcohol not a great problem...I'm only a social drinker.
But ice cream not a small issue...especially in current 30 degree plus heat!
