Dear Friends
The
last few days in Hong Kong have seen record
levels of pollution.
People with any sort of breathing difficulty have not been able to leave their
homes. Many parents have not let their children go outside.
The pollution and high temperatures (34 degrees) have made going outside a
draining experience
I feel sorry for all the tourists in HK these days, especially the million or so from the Mainland. Although on second thoughts, the Mainland folk are used to such pollution....most of HK's pollution comes from China
As a recent NCR put it, Climate change: it's real and it's dangerous
