Dear Friends
The
new academic year in Hong Kong starts on September 3.
In the four weeks before then, the issue of a new course called "National
Education" is like a time bomb for the new government, with teachers
threatening to boycott classes from Sep 3
Reason? National Education is really "National Brainwashing"...trying to force young people to believe lies. HK's basic freedom is under attack from China....and HK people and HK media are putting up one heck of a fight
China, sadly, is a land where lies are propagated as truth, a land where the truth is distorted. On the China side of the border with HK, TV items from HK are regularly blacked out. The whole issue of National Education is blacked out. People across the border must buy their TV coverage from government agencies...to enable censorship. To have your own TV aerial (capable of picking up HK) is illegal. The internet is also heavily censored
But
people across the border know exactly what's going on.
How? They have a modern invention called the radio, which can't be blacked
out! For decades, people in China have used radio to find out what's going
on in the world....and in their own country!
