Dear Friends
Yesterday
a local pastor invited me for a late afternoon tea
after our day's prison work.
As
we sat in a canteen near Lai Chi Kok Detention Centre,
we discussed many topics, one of the last of which was the issue of same-sex
marriage
The
pastor mentioned he knew of a Chinese family who recently returned to Hong Kong
after having migrated to Canada some years ago.
The reason for returning: their primary one child had been taught in a Canadian
school that there are three types of families:
1. A father and mother family.
2. A mother and mother family.
3. A father and father family
And
this was just the start of such education in Canada
I'd be grateful if a Canadian reader would please send a short note re this
situation in Canada. Is such education compulsory?
This is an issue that should be of concern for all parents of young children
