Dear Friends
Last Friday at Lai Chi Kok Detention Centre, my weekly prayer service was a remembrance service for the mother of an inmate who died recently in South America
About
30 inmates, from all parts of the world, were at the service.
The service was in English, with an inmate from Paraguay providing Spanish
translation for the grieving inmate and his friends from Columbia
The son gave a beautiful sharing about his mother. A number of inmates also spoke in solidarity
The service ended with some inspiring singing from the African inmates
May the Good Lord strengthen the son and his family, and May Eunice in heaven pray for us all!
