Dear Friends
Yesterday
at Lai Chi Kok detention centre about 40 inmates attended the Friday weekly
prayer service. In one group, as we shared about the theme of "serving
rather than being served" (Sunday Gospel), two African inmates spoke about
four African leaders who were good servants.
I'll try to put something about those leaders on tomorrow's menu
Last
night, I joined Fr Slawek and his team from Notre Dame parish in giving out rice
boxes to poor people. Turns out that the leader of the team, John, is due to be
married today! How many men the night before their wedding are on the
street serving poor people?
John has the right idea of "serving rather than being served".
And his wife has the right idea of "Mr Right"!
May they see their children's children
