week marks the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of El Alamein in Egypt during
World War II. Of this battle Winston Churchill wrote "Before
Alamein we never had a victory. After Alamein, we never had a defeat."

My Dad (a "Rat of Tobruk") was one of 200 Australians wounded (and 27 killed) during the battle on the night of Oct 28
