Immaculate Conception!
Let's remember Mary in a special way today
Today's feast reminds us that it is possible to defeat evil
e.g.
the evil of drugs. Drug taking can be stopped.
Many people have come off drugs by prayer and community support
Which
reminds me: a 40 year old man who has been in HK prisons several times for drug
use, is due to be released Dec 10.
After his previous releases, he had nowhere to live, no job, nothing.
He slept on the street, soon needed to steal to get money for food,
soon was back on drugs to forget his problems
This time, Dec 10, a plan has been made to help him once and for all to say goodbye to drugs. Accommodation has been arranged, a support group is ready....and....a group of us are looking for a part-time job for him, until he can find permanent work.
Any
dear friends in HK able to help with a part-time job please?
Anything: washing dishes, cleaning, shifting, gardening etc

Mary, please help all the drug addicts to break away from the influence of
drugs, by the power of your Son's grace....and the help of a few friends
