Dear Friends
"I
just go to work each day....come home....
...eat, sleep....holiday on Sunday....I'm not sure what life is all about"
So said a young man aged about 30 I met yesterday
He's a Christian...goes to church....but searching for more meaning in life
I gave him a copy of the Old Testament Simple Bible...with its beautiful texts about wisdom and the meaning of life.
Invited him to keep in touch by email....and will send him a Simple Bible New Testament when he finishes the OT
I didn't have copy of the New Testament with me at the time
May the Scriptures help him, help all of us, to sort things out
