Dear Friends
As happens each year when I come back to Australia for a holiday, so this time also I have taken a while to get used to being a pedestrian in a country where cars give way to people, rather than people giving way to cars (as in HK)
I've also got back into the habit of calling out "thank you" to the driver as I leave a bus...and saying "hello" or "morning" as I get on the bus
And not forgetting the custom of saying "hello" to people who are complete strangers as you walk along a street with not many pedestrians. Even women will say "hello" as they pass a man on the footpath
May Australia never lose its friendly spirit!

Dec 27 - Jan 31 I'm due to be in
Australia for holiday/meetings.
See Australia schedule
Recent photos - see link below ("Recent HK photos")
God bless all on my sick list, in HK,
Australia, China and other places,
- especially dear friends battling cancer.....
Thank you for a prayer
God bless!
