Another first yesterday: first time to use a self-service terminal at a post office. Just follow the instructions on a screen, put in your money, take a print out label, put it on your letter/parcel, drop letter/parcel in container next to terminal

very good....but bye bye more jobs.
How to balance technological progress and the unemployment it causes....this is
the challenge
Also a challenge: more machines mean less communication between humans....a more impersonal society. Not good?
