Dear Friends
Lunar New Year is just around the corner (Sunday, Feb 10) and Hong Kong is preparing: shops selling all sorts of New Year items, people preparing gifts, decorations and lights everywhere, and a feeling of anticipation in the air as the New Year holidays approach - 3 public holidays, 10 or so days of holidays for schools....the only time of the year when many private businesses shut down
The
celebration of Lunar New Year is deep in Chinese culture.
Even the Communist Party of the Mainland could not remove it.
It's a celebration of life, of family, of humanity
God, you who made the moon, please bless Lunar New Year!
