Dear Friends
Today is another public holiday in HK, China and other places - for the third day of the Lunar New Year
HK people these days are following the beautiful custom of dressing up in their best clothes to visit relatives and friends...during which time there is a "fierce" (as the Irish would say) exchange of gifts (fruit, biscuits, chocolates etc)
The whole atmosphere these days is one of happiness as families spend most of their time together....something not always possible through the year because of jobs/study etc
When you walk the streets of HK these days, what you see is families, families, families...all together, all dressed up
Considering how family life is under attack in many parts of the world, it is certainly refreshing to see how strong family life still is in Chinese culture. May that always be the case!
