Friday hello from Hong Kong.
On this day in 1807 in front of a crucifix Eugene
de Mazenod was overcome by the love of God ....and decided to dedicate his
life to God's service
Eugene had a special concern for prisoners....so he'd be pleased that Pope Francis washed the feet of inmates last night
As a follower of Eugene, and prompted by Pope Francis' example, I have spent a lot of time washing inmates feet this week...many dozens of them
But I didn't copy Francis in one thing: I didn't kiss any feet!
