Happy Easter! May the Risen Lord give our hearts, our families, our Church, our world ...a much-needed injection of hope
May the election of Pope Francis continue to give us hope ....after years of a feeling of hopelessness about the Church
Let's
also be realistic: good news brings opposition. The religious
leaders of Jesus' time did all they could to squash the good news of the
resurrection. And now we see the same thing happening with Pope Francis: a
small but rowdy and influential group in the Church is already mounting a
campaign to oppose Francis.

So...we need to maintain our prayer campaign asking the Lord's protection and blessing for Francis. As Francis begins to make changes to the Curia etc, the opposition will get stronger.
Risen Jesus, please protect and bless Pope Francis!
