Happy Annunciation today! (Usually March 25, but shifted because March 25 was in Holy Week)
When
Mary was asked by Gabriel to be the mother of the Messiah,
Mary was only about 15 or 16 years old
Unlike Eve who said "no", Mary said "yes"
May we say "yes" to love of God and care for neighbour a bit more in our lives ...maybe starting with concern for the poor following the lead of Pope Francis
Whether we are 15 or 50 or 85, may we always say "yes"
