Dear Friends

Yesterday at a drug addiction centre, an inmate showed me a newspaper clipping he'd kept - of Pope Francis washing and kissing the feet of inmates on Holy Thursday night

Said yesterday's inmate: "How come he not only washed but also kissed feet, but when you washed our feet (during Holy Week) you didn't kiss them?"

My feeble answer:  "Maybe next year"!?
