On this 200th birthday of Frederick Ozanam, I hope Pope Francis will give a talk or write something for the anniversary. I just did a quick Google search but could not find any direct reference to FO by Cardinal Bergoglio. If any reader can find one, please let me know and I'll post it (jdwomi@gmail.com )
This
blog has previously expressed the hope that Pope Francis will canonise Oscar
Romero and Matteo Ricci.
I'm now adding Frederick Ozanam to the list ...and Ozanam has a head start since
he's already "Blessed" !
My "Foreigner in Hong Kong" column in today's Ming Pao newspaper is about Ozanam, and has the St V de P logo
