Dear Friends

There's a story about a priest being asked for help by a "down and out".
The priest thought the beggar was not genuine, so he didn't help him

Then the beggar played his trump card, a line from today's RRP menu:
"Father, please don't extinguish a wavering flame" !

So the priest gave in and helped him get a meal

I was in a similar situation last night, and the RRP line influenced me to provide help for a "down and out".
My head said "no" but my heart and the RRP line kept saying "yes"

No harm to err on the side of kindness
