Dear Friends
A few days ago in a local prison, I met a man who has been in prison dozens of times for drug-related issues. He told me that about 15 years ago one of his prison companions was Ben Keung. Ben is the author of this riveting book which tells the story of how he got off drugs, thanks to being introduced by his girlfriend to a Christian group.
Ben
went one way....to freedom from drugs ...and to helping other people get off
drugs.
The first man went the other way ....hooked on drugs ....helping other people
stay on drugs
The first man is now genuinely interested, on his next release, in catching up with Ben and trying to imitate Ben
May he, and others similarly interested, be blessed in this endeavour.
From
tomorrow night, on the first Sunday of each month, Ben and a few of his ministry
friends are kindly going to come to the Sunday night gathering for ex-inmates
and other poor people that I help with at St Paul's in Yau Ma Tei.
May Ben's presence help many people stay on the drug-free path
