Dear Friends

One school in Australia where I used work had the lovely custom of letting the Feast of the Sacred Heart be a day on which students were encouraged to bring gifts for the poor

One of the  prayers for today's Mass has the words:
"Help us to see Jesus in others" (...especially the poor)

On this special day, may we do something for someone less fortunate than ourselves
