Last
Saturday during breakfast I watched this
Sixty Minutes report about the work
Australian Christian nurse Valerie Browning & her Muslim husband Ismael.....
30 years
helping famine victims in Ethiopia.
The main thing that struck me was the same as struck the reporter: the heat
....50-60 degrees Celcius most days
Last
January I was in Sydney when the temperature was 46 degrees Cecius for a day or
so.
But imagine 50-60 as the usual temperature
And in that heat Valerie, aged 59, sometimes walks 50-60 km a day (one km for each degree!)
How can I complain about the weather in HK?
