Dear Friends
Last
Sunday night, after gathering for ex-inmates and other special guests (140 of
them!) I came home happy but tired
...and turned on computer to do next day's menu of this website.
Before starting website job, I checked the football results from Australia.
Was
like winning the lottery: my lowly team, the Brisbane Lions, had beaten one of
the top teams, Geelong..
in amazing fashion...coming back from "down and out" in the last part
of the game - see here
Such good news gave me undreamt of energy....I completely forgot tiredness
Maybe not so spectacular, but also giving energy - physical as well as mental and spiritual - is THE Good News
Many people have noticed: each time we give a few minutes to Bible reading and study, our hearts experience an increase of peace and motivation ....and even our bodies notice an increase of energy and focus
So...let's
continue the effort each day to read and study the Good Book for a few minutes.
Hopefully the daily Reading-Reflection-Prayer on this site will be of use to
many people.
Go Lions! I mean Go Christians!
