Dear Friends
Pope Francis is due to travel to Brazil July 22-29 for World Youth Day
I'm
still hoping he'll spring two last minute surprises:
- a visit to El Salvador before WYD, to canonise (not beatify) Romero
- a visit to his native Argentina after WYD (even though some bishops may
not welcome him...c.f. article on today's menu

But main thing: God please give Francis a safe trip to/from WYD....and may WYD welcome Pope's message re "a poor Church for the poor"
Let's keep this intention in our prayers over the next couple of weeks
