Dear Friends
A
lovely experience yesterday lunchtime. Went to McDonald's for a quick lunch.
My first meat at McDs this month
Was
looking for a seat in the busy Jordan McDs when a man called out "come and
sit here"
(there was an empty stool at the table where he was sitting....stool opposite
him)
Vaguely
recognised his face....then when I tried to shake hands and he produced his left
arm, the penny fell:
a hard-working rubbish cleaner who had a stroke about ten years ago. I see
him sometimes as he's working on the streets. Had said hello to him a few times
Yesterday I found out he's originally from China, from Hainan Island
The
fact that he asked me to join him at table .....might sound a bit corny...but
quite an honor for me when you think about it. He wasn't after money ....had
just started his meal ....he was just being friendly.
Before I left ...a copy of Dr Jesus for him and a quick
nobody-except-him-noticed prayer for left side of his brain
Jesus, please bless Mr Ng!
