Dear Friends
Last two or three World Youth Days: as far as I remember, Pope Benedict stayed in background till weekend Masses
This time: at least as far as media is concerned, WYD is in background as Pope Francis makes his visits to various places
And Pope Francis' visits are so very different ....e.g. during the blessing of Olympic flags, there were children romping (too strong...make that moving around freely) just near the Pope
This is all going to take ages to digest. And will cause consternation for non-romping, I mean non-moving-around, thinkers
And wait for the Pope's Masses ...this will blow some people's minds....he's not going to use the new translation!
Jesus, please protect Pope Francis and bless his time in Brazil!
