Brazil is due to host the Soccer/Football World Cup in 2014, and the Olympic Games in 2016. No doubt a lot of articles will be written about lessons for 2014 and 2016 from the World Youth Day of 2013 ...where the venue for the two main Masses with Pope Francis has had to be changed at the last minute because of bad weather
Years of work and millions of dollars went into preparing The
Field of Faith, but now it won't be used because it's a Field of Mud. Didn't
anyone think about the possibility of rain? What a great disappointment...but
also...what a lack of wisdom.
Hopefully the planners for 2014 and 2016 will learn from 2013
