Dear Friends
As part of living simply I try each week to tidy up one part of my home ....and throw out or give away anything I don't need or haven't used for a long time
...into which category fell a 50 year old book "The Documents of Vatican II" - on line....no need for book
...but who could use it?
...a prisoner? ...what prisoner would be able to read such "heavy" material
Found such an inmate yesterday...a young local Chinese man...he even asked me for a "religious book" to read (already has Bible etc) ....and when I saw what he was currently reading...I thought: Vat II for you
Anyone found reading Othello can read Vatican II !!
And
when I said "would you like a dusty old book with the documents of Vatican
II"
he said "O yes....I've read a bit about Vatican II and I'd like to study
the documents" !
