Dear Friends
When we hear of sad events, we should try to say a little prayer for the people/places involved. Our knowledge of a tragedy should lead on to a prayer....if our faith is properly installed in our hearts and minds
So,
as we continue to hear about the tragedy unfolding in Egypt we can pray:
Jesus, please give peace to the land where
you were a refugee
After
hearing about the ferry tragedy in Cebu (Philippines) claiming more than 200
lives we can pray:
Jesus, give eternal life to the dead,
consolation to their families ....and remove the corruption or carelessness that
causes such a tragedy to be almost an annual event in the Philippines
