This article speaks about the administrative running of a diocese
Just
one thought: yes, a diocese needs to be prudent about financial and legal
considerations.
But it should not become just a business (same goes for a parish or
school)
In several of his books, Joseph Girzone laments the way many dioceses have become business concerns, with pastoral considerations taking a back seat. People, including priests and religious, are treated more like servants and hired hands than as brothers and sisters
Jesus, please help the Church get out of the business of being a business
