These words written in 1965 sum up the decades since then.
The decades since 1965 have seen huge changes in the way our world operates

One example: the movement of people from the country to the city....with all the
business of city life. The majority of the world's people now live in cities.

Static:  a peaceful farming area.
Dynamic: a bustling city

All the more reason for the Church to adapt it's thinking and behaviour.
To stay stuck in static mode while the world moves to dynamic mode
is a recipe for disaster

No teacher, no football coach, no business person
- in their right mind -
refuses to use the advances in their particular fields 
(overhead computers, new training methods, business websites)

Jesus, please help your Church "to move with the times":
Not throwing out babies with bathwater,
but like the wise householder
"bringing from the storeroom things both new and old"
