These two articles talk about culture and cultures
One of the article's main points
is that
increase in contact between nations and groups
has seen the development of a universal form of human culture
i.e. people all over the world
have more and more in common:
- ways of dress
- types of food
- communication methods
- language systems (travel signs...)
Which makes me think of Teilhard
de Chardin.
Last century, long before computers and the internet and jet travel,
he said that the human family is destined to become ever more inter-linked,
and that we humans are developing an ever higher form of consciousness,
we are evolving into an ever higher form of life
...as we grow in love....
....And
our goal, whether we know it or not,
is you Jesus, who are Love Itself!
