This article reminds us that Ecumenism is not an option:
it's a must for every Christian, since it was a solemn wish of Jesus

For some decades after Vatican II finished,
Ecumenism was widely promoted.
But under John Paul II and especially under Benedict XVI,
Ecumenism "has gone backwards"

One of the tragedies (travesties?) of the "new translation" is that is has broken an agreement and practice with other Christians to share the same translations and texts

Jesus, please help the Church to take Ecumenism seriously, as you did
