This article says it's good for Catholics and other Christians to join in prayer for unity
(Years ago, such common prayer was regarded as a sin? Yesterday's sins are today's virtues?)
Then there's this two-dollar each-way sentence:
Witness to the unity of the Church very generally forbids common worship to Christians, but the grace to be had from it sometimes commends this practice.
Many
pastors and writers these days feel that the above sentence should read:
Witness to the unity of the Church very generally commends
common worship to Christians
Jesus, please help Christians of various denominations do more, not less, praying together
