A fixed date for Easter?

"The Second Ecumenical Sacred Council of the Vatican,
recognizes the importance of the wishes expressed by many
concerning the assignment of the feast of Easter to a fixed Sunday

The Sacred Council would not object if the feast of Easter
were assigned to a particular Sunday of the Gregorian Calendar,
provided that those whom it may concern,
especially the brethren who are not in communion with the Apostolic See, give their assent."

This issue has been around for a long time,
but like other ecumenical issues,
has not had any movement under recent popes.
DV Pope Francis will be able to add this task to his "to do" list

From the point of view of civil society
- especially the educational, business and travel sectors -
a fixed date for Easter is desirable

See "Reform of the date of Easter" (Wikipedia)

Jesus, may you soon rise on the same day each year!

p.s. the date for Easter each year until 2027!
