Reflection 266

Let
priests remember that the care of all churches must be their intimate
concern. Hence, priests of such dioceses as are rich in vocations should show
themselves willing and ready to volunteer for work in other regions, missions or
endeavors which are poor in numbers of clergy.
Re-reading the above words reminded me of a book I saw years ago called "The whole world is my parish"
I couldn't remember the name of the priest who wrote the book, so I just checked Google and found out that the phrase "The whole world is my parish" was first used on June 11, 1738 in Oxford by.....John Wesley!
From
Google I see there's a pastor in US whose blog is called
The World is my Parish
(with a HK http address!)
Jesus,
may every priest and pastor have the mentality
"the whole world is my parish"
