DEI VERBUM , 1965 |
God made the world. God started the human family.
His love and presence can be seen everywhere
As Louis Armstrong sang in "What a Wonderful World":
I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
So we pray in the words of Psalm 8:
When I see the heavens, the work of your hands,
the moon and stars which you arranged,
then I stop and think:
what are we insignificant humans that you should care about us?
Yet you have put us in charge of the world
How great is your name, O Lord our God,
through all the earth
