I am sending this message to some special people who have most generously helped my two NGOs MercyHK and Voice for Prisoners.

I am inviting you to support a very important project with which I have been involved the past few years:

An international documentary movie - MULE - which aims to help stop people bringing drugs to HK.

The documentary is being produced by Maria Cristhin Kuiper, a journalist and filmmaker who used to be based in HK and who has been part of my team on recent anti-drug campaign trips to Africa, South America and South East Asia.

In the first 8 days of October, I went to four prisons - Pik Uk Correctional Institution, Lai King Correctional Institution, Lai Chi Kok Reception Centre and Tai Lam Centre for Women. In those 8 days I met more than 20 people, many of them under 22 years old, from overseas and local HK people, who had been recently arrested at HK airport for bringing drugs to HK. Some of them knew what they were doing, many of them were tricked to carry drugs. All of them are facing around 10 years in prison .... 10 years of agony for their families as well as for themselves.

This year I have officiated at a number of funerals (paid for by MercyHK) of local HK people who died of drug overdoses. The curse of drugs is increasing in HK and in the world generally. We need to do more to stop this evil phenomenon.

Maria's documentary will be a powerful force to stop drug mules coming to HK. Maria also plans to set up an internet library of documentary information to fight the drug trade.
