2014-04-15 The story of Anita Moorjani - and Easter
Anita was born in Singapore. Her family moved to Hong Kong when she was two years old. She went to school in Hong Kong and became a successful business woman. Not long after she got married, she faced a four-year battle with cancer.
As
Anita's life came to an end at Hong Kong's Ruttonjee Hospital in Wanchai, she
went into a coma, during which time she had an amazing experience of life in the
next world.
Not long after she came out of the coma, her body was free of cancer.
Anita's story is told in her book "Dying to be Me" which was on the New York Times Best Seller List for several months last year. If you Google "Anita Moorjani" you'll find lots of information about this remarkable story.
At this time of Ching Ming and Easter, Anita's story is of special interest. It reinforces the basic belief in Chinese culture and many religious traditions that death does not mean "game over". I wish all dear Ming Pao readers a Happy Easter!
